The 4th annual gsmExchange tradeZone @ CTIA has finished in style with record numbers visiting the pavilion and feedback from the Exhibitors on an all time high for the USA leg of the gsmExchange tradeZone.

tradeZone was back in Las Vegas for the 4th year in a row working with the CTIA Wireless Association to deliver the rebranded - Distribution Pavilion by gsmExchange. 47 leading domestic and international exhibitors seized the opportunity to exhibit and were rewarded with 3 days of solid business development opportunity with a wide and varied group of visitors from the USA market and around the world.

The USA was as expected, the most represented segment of the market. The value they brought in their diversity and wide range of products and SKU's meant there was something for every single visitor who took the time to enter the distribution pavilion. New, Used and Operator stocks along with varied accessories and parallel services were all represented.

Early indications suggested that this years big trends would focus on the Used market with exhibitors and visitors alike requesting meetings with professionals with this interest. The gsmExchange team supported accordingly and estimate that hundreds of meetings took place with the focus on used stocks between exhibitors and referred companies.

The international community sent their purchasers in search of new suppliers of all major US Spec brands including Apple, Samsung and Huawei in particular. Connections were successfully made throughout and we expect to see continued growth for exports from the USA.

Dubai was back in force with 14 companies exhibiting and a high number of visitors choosing to travel from the Gulf region. gsmExchange welcomed some new companies along with our older partners with a solid cross section of the industry represented from large retailers, traders and official distributors all making the trip.

Record amounts of renewals from exhibitors was made for the 2016 event, with over 50% of companies signing contracts before the show ended to renew or enlarge their current locations. gsmExchange invites any other interested parties to get in contact asap to avoid disappointment.

For now, gsmExchange would like to thank the 47 companies who exhibited and the thousands that travelled to this years event.
